The conversation continues about Item-Level RFID…RFID's feasibility, utilization, and ROI. Continued research has been taken to the next level with real-world testing of RFID in apparel/retail stores.

This event is a must-attend for retailers, suppliers, and anyone else exploring item-level RFID. Discussions, tours of an RFID lab, and hands-on demonstrations give retailers the opportunity to explore their own RFID implementation opportunities. See the agenda for more information or register now to secure your seat.

The research has been undertaken by the University of Arkansas RFID Research Center with the combined efforts of VICS, CSCMP, Procter & Gamble, and Dillard’s. So far, research has pointed to the fact that greater RFID benefits can be derived from item-level tagging..

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://itresearchinstitute.blogspot.com/2009/08/item-level-rfid-road-to-roi-in.html' title='What is the ROI of RFID? The majority of the discussion was centered around Twitter, with Facebook following a close second. Flickr, LinkedIn, Myspace, Wikis, and traditional blogs were discussed as well.

Topics of particular interest were personal branding, risk management, educating students entering the workforce, and the real value of social media to a business.

For additional information, or to attend the next roundtable discussion please contact Eric Bradford.
